Number 12, Grimmauld Place

Tonks: I walked inconspicuously in front of Number12, Grimmauld Place, wondering if it was safe for us to enter yet. I was very grateful in this moment for the ability to change my appearance. I looked up at the building which was visible at the moment. No deatheater guard. I nodded, knowing the others were watching and were ready to enter at the first sign it was safe. I ran up the front steps and opened the door, walking carefully inside with my wand drawn.

Lupin: I followed right after Tonks, when I had seen no Death Eater guard, I knew that it was safe. All the same, I drew my wand as I followed right behind her. The others stayed where they were. They weren't as confident as I was.

Tonks: I slid into the house, there was absolutely no sound, and it looked relatively the same as it had the last time we'd had a meeting here, well, other than the dirt and dust that was beginning to collect on everything. "I don't think anyone's here," I whispered, shaking my head. "Unless Kreacher's up in the attic moaning and going on about something," I added. "I think it should be safe here for a few hours, I doubt the deatheaters will stay away for too long. What do you think?"

Lupin: I shook my head, "I don't know. There has never been a time that we have come here in the past week that a Death Eater hasn't been patrolling. Why is no one here now? I don't like it at all."

Tonks: I shook my head. "I know, it probably means they're having a meeting of some sort, or they're tracking someone." I took a few more steps forward. "I don't like this either, it seems as if there's just.... something different with this place, but I'm not sure what it is, I mean other than the dust, and the fact that it's unguarded,"

Lupin: "Something isn't right. If Voldemort is out to find Harry, and I have gathered that from the fact that everywhere I turn there are Wanted posters hanging, why would he leave Grimmauld Place unguarded? That is one of the most likely places for him to come." I frowned, trying to piece things together, "Either he has found where Harry is hiding, or he had found something of equal importance that must be done right away. But why, even then, would he leave these holes?" I said the questions almost to myself, although all the others had heard as they had filed in. I mulled these questions over in my head while they got situated.

Tonks: I shook my head. "Well, obviously there's something wrong." I nodded. "If he's found Harry, well, then we're in trouble, and I doubt he'd consider anything more important at the moment than finding Harry," I looked around. "What are you doing saying his name anyway? That's a surefire way to get the death eaters to show up,"

Lupin; "If they show up, we kill them. If not, we know that he either has Harry, or is on his tail."

Tonks: I nodded, taking a seat on the stairs. "Well, I suppose you're right. What do we do if none come?"

Lupin: "We find Harry," I said, looking around at everyone's faces.

Tonks: "Is there any way we could get a message to someone at the school? To see if they know what's happening?"

Lupin: "Floo Powder? If Voldemort is at the school, the defense is down so that his Death Eaters and himself can get in and out with ease."

Tonks: "Floo powder. Good idea. Who do we contact though?" I asked, frowning.

Lupin: "Gryffindor common room."

Tonks: "Right, I knew that...." I nodded, jumping up and heading to the fireplace. "Er.... do we have any floo powder?" I asked.

Lupin: "On the mantle, in a leather satchel."

Tonks: I smiled, and spun back around quickly to face the fireplace, losing my balance as I so often did, but luckily catching the mantle before any bad could come of it. I grabbed the bag off the mantle in front of me. "Um... should I do it? Or does one of you want to?"

Lupin: "I don't care." I looked around and saw that no one else did either. "But I'll do it, just in case anything should go wrong."

Tonks: I nodded, handing him the bag, before crouching down on the balls of my feet, just behind the fireplace

Lupin: I grabbed a handful of Floo Powder and threw it into the fire. I then stuck my head into the green flame that began to burn and I said "Gryffindor Common Room," clearly.

Ginny: I sat in the common room, pretending to study. The death eater who had been assigned to our common room was sitting in the corner, dozing off a bit. I set down my book for a moment and noticed something in the fire. A face..... it was Lupin! I jumped up as quietly as I could and walked over trying not to look suspicious. "Hello?" I whispered.

Tonks: I turned to look at the others, they all looked worried, I stood up and walked to sit on one of the chairs that was in the room, waiting.

Lupin: "Can you talk without being overheard?" I whispered back.

Ginny: I checked over my shoulder, to see the still sleeping form of the death eater, then turned back and whispered. "For a couple minutes, probably," I nodded.

Lupin: "I have three questions, and three questions alone. I shall give them to you in succession, so listen carefully. First, what is happening? Second, is Harry there? Third, is there a charm on the school protecting it from witches and wizards apparating and disapparating in and out of it?"
