The Tonks Home

The home of Ted and Andromeda Tonks; Although neither Ted nor Andromeda were members of the Order of the Phoenix, their daughter was, and they allowed their home to be used as one of the Order's safehouses.

Tonks: I Apparated outside the bounds of the protective enchantments, and smiled at Amber, waiting for Remus and Ginny.

Lupin: I apparated next to Dora with Ginny.

Tonks: As soon as I heard the 'pop' of Remus and Ginny apparating, I moved inside the protective enchantments, pulling Amber with me. "This ought to be exciting," I sighed as I approached the house.

Lupin: "I can hardly wait," I smiled at Dora.

Tonks: "I don't see why, considering she still doesn't like you much," I shrugged.

Ginny: I ran forward to Amber, and walked next her slowly.

Amber: I felt someone walking beside me and realized it was Ginny. I stayed quiet, not knowing what to say, and also because I was nervous and maybe even, scared of meeting Tonks' mother.

Ginny: I looked over at Amber, and saw the look of anxiety on her face. "Are you alright?" I asked, whispering.

Amber: I looked at Ginny and grimaced. "I'm that easy to read, huh?" I whispered, chuckling. I sighed, "Just nervous. I always am whenever I meet someone new."

Ginny: I nodded. "To be honest with you, I'm nervous when meeting new people as well," I told her, still keeping my voice low. "At least she can't be as bad as her sister, can she?" I pointed out.

Amber: I nodded. "I guess she can't be." I said, shrugging.

Tonks: I stopped at the front door and knocked loudly.

Ginny: I stopped behind Tonks and Remus, and waited.

(And I guess I'll be Andromeda; which means Amber and Ginny are staying so I don't end up talking to myself like some lunatic XD)

Andromeda: I heard a loud pounding on the door, and wondered who was here. I hadn't been expecting anyone. I made sure I had my wand before walking to the door and opening it. "Nymphadora? Remus? Do the two of you realize what time it is? Eight in the morning, a little early for a visit, isn't it? You're both alright, aren't you?" I asked, not bothering to stop and wait for answers. "That Kingsley man said you were going into hiding, and he said something about an attack at Hogwarts...." I trailed off, noticing two school age girls (one obviously a Weasley) standing behind them.

Amber: I waited and heard Tonk's mom talking then...she stopped. I looked up and saw she was looking at Ginny and I. I blinked and took a step back, scared.

Lupin: I sighed, "Let's get inside and we can talk there. Yes, it is early, but Kingsley and I have things to do today."

Tonks: "It really is freezing out here," I nodded, in agreement that we should go inside. "It'll be easier to explain things when we're not half frozen." I sighed. "And it's only September! Imagine what November and December will be like, bloody freezing they will be," I shuddered.

Andromeda: "Honestly, Nymphadora, you've always been so dramatic. The way you put things it seems as though the world is going to end momentarily," I shook my head, but moved aside and watched as the four of them shuffled in and sat down. The two girls looked hesitant for unknown reasons, but for them to not be in school in the first place, something must have happened. I closed the door and walked to sit on one of the armchairs across from the sofa on which they were all sitting. "What happened, then?" I asked.

Ginny: I looked around the room we were in. It was eerily clean, cleaner than most homes I'd been in, anyway. The decor was fairly normal, and even seemed as though this home could belong to some overly clean Muggles. There were moving photographs throughout the room, most only containing three people, I assumed they were of Tonks and her parents. They seemed to be in chronological order, thepeople moving in them moving a bit sluggishly in the older photos. There were also non-moving pictures with large groups of people in them, who had to be Muggle relatives, which I thought was nice. I snapped my attention back to the others when Remus began to speak.

Lupin: "Hogwarts has been overrun by Death Eaters. They are wreaking havoc, and it is only a matter of time before things get completely out of hand. He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named has taken over as headmaster. None of the students are safe where they are. Ginny and Amber only just escaped last night."

Tonks: "And Remus and Kingsley, being essentially the leaders of the rebellion are going to keep things going, and try to distract them from the hint for Harry," I added. "Bloddy idiotic if you ask me, but heroic and noble nonetheless. Not that it changes the idiocy though,"

Lupin: "It's not only us."

Andromeda: I nodded. "I understand," I told them. "I'm not quite sure what brings you here though,"

Lupin: "It's simple really. This is one of the only places that is safe."

Tonks: "In other words I will be staying here, and it's possible that Ginny and Amber will be as well," I said.

Andromeda: I nodded. "Well, why didn't you say so in the first place?"

Lupin: "It seemed better to explain the situation first."

Amber: I stood there not knowing what to say or do. I looked down at the ground and played with my fingers.

Andromeda: I nodded. "Well, you can go if you say you must, Remus. Nymphadora. Will you introduce me to these girls? I know Miss. Weasley's parents, they graduated during my third year at Hogwarts... but I'm afraid I don't know who you, or your friend are,"

Tonks: I sighed and rolled my eyes dramatically. "I think they can introduce themselves," I told her, then looked at Remus expectantly, waiting for his answer.

Ginny: I looked at Amber, nodding for her to go first.

Amber: I looked up, startled, and saw Ginny nod her head at me. I shot her look and turned towards Andromeda. "Hello, my name's Amber." I said quietly.
