The Corridors

I followed after Bellatrix, and almost told her that I didn't understand her ever....but I caught myself.

Lupin: I stayed right behind Draco as he exited the school

I wandered the halls for a bit cautiously still unsure of where to look for Hermione and Harry. The halls were empty since most students had gone to there common rooms earlier, and the death eaters must have all been outside. I heard footsteps coming down the corner toward which I was heading. I found a banner to hide behind similar to the aforementioned which Luna and I had hid behind. As it passed I found that it was rather a they. Curious. When the coast was clear, I sped my pace through the halls and just as I passed the Room of Requirement the door opened. My eye pulled up in amusement, and I walked in with the hope that Harry and Hermione might have up there or left some kind of clue as to where they were going.

Rookwood: I walked down the narrow corridors and winding staircases, making my way to the Headmaster's office. When I reached it I smiled, "Morsmordre."

McGonagall: I stood behind Rookwood, he was standing there after he'd spoken the password with an odd grin on his face. "Are we going up or not?"

Rookwood: "You're going up. Don't worry. The statue will lock after you enter..."

McGonagall: I sighed and shook my head, before walking up the steps that led to the headmasters office.

Rookwood: I turned and walked back to the grounds with Severus.

Ginny: I looked left and right down the corridor, but saw no one. I took a deep breath and looked at Amber before walking forward, wondering where we should go.

Amber: I saw Ginny look back at me, I took a deep breath and followed, quickly, after her. I looked around, cautiously, whenever I walked through these Corridors whether it be alone or with friends, it still gave me the creeps. I shuddered, slightly, and kept walking. I had no idea where we were going.

Ginny: I bit my lip and looked at Amber. "Where should we go?" I whispered.

Amber: I looked at Ginny and blinked. "I don't know.." I whispered. I bit my lip. Think Amber think, I repeated in my head.

Ginny: I thought for a moment before saying something. "Well, we could go down near the Great Hall and see if anything is happening there,"

Amber: I nodded. "Good idea." I looked around and kept walking towards the Great Hall.

Ginny: I smiled and started into a jog to the Great Hall. I stopped as we neared the Entrance Hall and peeked around the corner, wondering if it would be guarded.

Amber: I chuckled as Ginny broke into a jog and followed her after, quietly. I stopped jogging as I saw her stop before entering the Great Hall.

Ginny: I took a deep breath and looked at Amber. "Looks like this won't work," I whispered. "There are Death Eaters in there," I told her, realizing a little too late my voice was louder than I'd prefer it to be.

Amber: I was about to speak when I saw someone walk up behind Ginny. "Ginny," I gulped, "There's someone behind you." My voice shook, slightly, with fear.

Ginny: "What?" I asked, seeing Amber's face pale. I didn't catch what she was saying, until I heard her say someone was behind me, to which I gulped and turned slowly around.

Narcissa: (is no longer dead YAY!) I saw a flash of red as my eyes swept the Entrance Hall, and I approached the corner where the color had come from curiously. There were two girls, students obviously, one with bright red hair. A Weasley, probably. The girl she was talking to had Gryffindor robes on, I noted. When both girls were facing me I spoke. "I was under the impression that all students were supposed to be in their Common Rooms,"

Amber: I stiffened and looked at Ginny from the corner of my eye. "We didn't know. We were in the library and weren't aware that we should be in our Common Rooms."

Ginny: I nodded. "As I'm sure you know we all started classes today and we've already been assigned piles of homework," I said quickly, continuing with Amber's lie.

Narcissa: "Well, I'm afraid that I know for a fact you two are lying. There have been patrols throughout the castle for the past three hours," I told them. "Now, would you like to tell me what the two of you are up to?"

Amber: I furrowed my eyebrows and tried my best to put on my poker face, and lying voice. "We wouldn't lie, and we aren't up to anything." I shrugged. "We were catching up on our homework." I hoped she bought that, I thought to myself.

Ginny: "Yes," I nodded. "Amber is in her seventh year and I just started my sixth, she offered to help me because of how hard the NEWT level classes are," I said.

Narcissa: I narrowed my eyes. "Perhaps you didn't hear correctly, there have been Death Eaters patrolling the corridors for the past few hours, making sure all students are in their Common Rooms. Now, I'll ask again, what are you really up to?"

Amber: I nodded, agreeing with Ginny. She just won't give up, will she? I questioned in my head. "They didn't patrol the library, we would've seen them." I said. This wasn't a lie, I thought, they really hadn't.

Ginny: I nodded. "She's telling the truth," I said.

Narcissa: "Well, perhaps we should wait for the headmaster to finish giving instructions to the teachers, and see what he thinks of your story,"

Amber: I looked at Ginny, scared. The headmaster? But that would mean.. I felt myself stop breathing. I turned back and nodded, not trusting my voice.
