The Room of Requirement

Katie: I was grinning from ear to ear. "We've got quite a team here."

Romilda: I nodded. I didn't feel so doubtful anymore.

Colin: "What's the plan?"

Neville: "This is really great everyone. Thank you all for taking the risk of coming," I smiled, and looked at Collin. "Well, that's the part we're trying to figure out, any ideas are greatly appreciated,"

Anthony: I frowned, "I don't think we have much of a chance against all the Death Eaters and You-Know-Who."

Katie: I frowned at the pessimism. "Oh come on everyone! We're not just going to give up! Stop thinking we don't have a chance! First of all, there's a lot more students and teachers than than Death Eaters! Second, Death Eaters are idiots so that means our only challenge is You-Know-Who! And Third, we're here to learn how to fight him and them so we're not idiots either when the time comes! Could everyone just give us a little faith..."

Seamus: "Katie's right. We can't sit here and let them overpower us-- especially when we outnumber them-- just because we don't think we can do it. We won't know if we don't try, will we Anthony?"

Anthony: "I guess you have a point," I mumbled.

Chloe: I smiled, "Yeah, we can do this!"

Katie: "That's more like it." I smiled.

Emma: "Now we just need a plan..."

Ernie: "But maybe not having a plan would be more effective. Or at least, not having everything completely planned out,"

Bradley: "Make it up as we go along?"

Neville: "That might work,"

Chloe: "Sounds like a plan."

Seamus: "Or... not so much of one," I grinned. "I say we make life as hard for the Death Eaters and all who follow 'em as possible!"

Katie: "Heck yes!"

Romilda: "With you there Seamus!"

Natalie: I nodded in agreement with the others.

Brittany: It seemed I was the only one unhappy with this situation. "Hello everyone, aren't you all thinking about the consequences of that? Death Eaters are ruthless! They'll kill you if you put one toe out of line! And we can't just go out there with absolutely no plan! Like you said Katie, we're here so we don't have to look like a bunch of idiots. If we have no idea what the plan is and where to start, we no doubt will look like a bunch of idiots! Then we don't stand a chance..."

Ritchie: I raised an eyebrow. "Do you have any suggestions for a plan, Brittany?" These Ravenclaws...

Brittany: "No... but that doesn't mean we shouldn't have one! Now come on everyone! There's a load of us here so let's brainstorm..." I thought for a moment on how to start this out. "Okay so you guys say you want to give the Death Eaters a hard time? Number one: How do we stay safe?"

Andrew: "Uh...magic?"

Brittany: "Do you know the spells necessary to block the Avada Curse?"

Andrew: "..."

Brittany: "Anyone?"

Lavender: "Is there a way to block it? I... don't think there is..."

Victoria: "There isn't," I agreed.

Brittany: "So I guess the only thing we can do is try to dodge it and so I suggest we practice dodging spells today."

Katie: I was quite surprised. Brittany had become quite the leader although it seemed everyone still looked to Neville for confirmation.

Neville: "Err, that sounds like a good idea, as well as working on reflexes, as dodging spells don't always work," I nodded. "Pair off, and whoever isn't practicing dodging, work on spells for the others to dodge,"

Katie: I watched as everyone's eyes instantly began wandering for a partner.

Brittany: I looked over at Victoria only to see her staring right back at me with a grin.

Romilda: I smiled at Lavender with a questioning look.

Ritchie: I walked over to Seamus.

Victoria: I walked over to Brittany.

Emily: I looked around worriedly. First Year Hufflepuffs weren't exactly the most favorited.

Katie: I raised an eyebrow at Neville.

Lavender: I nodded, and walked over to Romilda. "What do you want to do first?"

Seamus: I grinned at Ritchie. "Hello,"

Neville: "Let me make sure everyone has a partner," I nodded, "then we can practice,"

(must....figure....out....who...my...characters....are....once....again! I shall reply tomorrow on this post. I'm too tired to figure it out right now xD)

Roger: I stepped over to Mandy and grinned. "Partners?"

Mandy: I nodded. "Partners,"

Sophia: "Er... Anthony, would you like to be partners?"

Anthony: "Sure, Sophia," I nodded, and drew my wand.

Randolph: "Oi! Eleanor, you'll be my partner right?"

Eleanor: I rolled my eyes. "Yes, Randolph..."

Chloe: I stood by myself, looking around for anyone without a partner.

Collin: I walked over to Emma and smiled. "Would you like to be my partner?"

Emma: I looked at Collin. "Sure!"

Joseph: "Owen... partners?"

Owen: "Of course, mate,"

Bradley: I looked around nervously. Were there even any other first years here?!

Andrew: I waited until everybody was pretty much partnered up before looking for a partner myself. I noticed Bradley looking a bit lost and walked over to him with a grin. "Partners?"

Emily: I looked over to Zacharias who didn't seem to have a partner. "Hey Zach... wanna pair up?" I asked hopefully.

Romilda: "How about we flip a coin?" I asked taking out her fake Dumbledore's Army Galleon with a wink.

Ritchie: "So you wanna dodge first or shall I?"

Victoria: "I'm assuming you'll be dodging first, Brittany." I had an eyebrow raised waiting for her to argue which of course she didn't. "Excellent." We moved away from everyone else so we would have some room.

Brittany: I followed Victoria to a secluded spot. "Alright, give it a go," I said feeling confident.

Katie: My eyes wandered the room to make sure everyone had a partner.

Zacharias: I nodded. "Sure, Emily," I smiled.

Seamus: "I will," I said. "Unless you think you need more practice,"

Lavender: "Good idea,"

Ernie: I walked over to Chloe. "You don't have a partner... do you?"

Neville: "Is that everyone?" I asked, looking around once more.

Katie: I checked around once more. "I think so."

Andrew: I took Bradley's nervous silence as a 'yes'. "Well let's find ourselves a spot then."

Emily: I grinned back and we found ourselves an area.

Romilda: "Heads or tails?"

Ritchie: I shook my head. "That's fine. I need more practice with spells."

Victoria: "Great. Alright... On the count of three."

Brittany: I nodded and got into position.
